Didgeridoo

This airy instrument is a fun one to add to the site because not only does it look odd, but it sounds very odd. The a lot of odd instruments that have strings often sound like guitars and other instruments we’ve heard before. But the Didgeridoo sounds like an animal grumbling noise that sounds like nothing else. The long hollowed out branch is blown into and depending the mouse position and air flow produces different warbling sounds. This instrument was originally created in Australia and it is still used today in traditional Australian ceremonies.
